Cisco Live! Presentations Available for Free

By stretch | Monday, June 4, 2012 at 12:30 a.m. UTC

Not going to Cisco Live! this year? Neither am I, sadly. There's good news though: Many of the presentations given at past conferences are available free with registration on CiscoLive365.com (previously Cisco Live Virtual).

Materials are currently available for conferences back to Cisco Live 2010 in Las Vegas. From what I've seen, the complete slides for all presentations are available, and many even include downloadable video recordings. The presentations from this year's conference should be available by June 20th.

But no way to download a bunch of sessions at once.

When they launched Cisco Live Virtual last year, they had this "briefcase" feature that you could add sessions to and then download them as one large ZIP file. It was beautiful because you could go through all the, for example, R&S sessions and get them all as a single ZIP package.

I emailed them about it when I couldn't find it on Live 365. Seems that they've taken out that feature.

So, while I love that all the PDF's are hosted only, I won't be updating the ones I got from last year. There's too much content for me to have to download each one individually.

Bloody stupid, if you ask me, for them to take away helpful features like that on their newest iteration of the website. :/

Great, this was not free to download in the past, was it? I remember searching for session presentations from Live 2010 all over the internet.

downloading a bunch of a session (ie all R&S or all COL) would be nice anyway..
