RIP

Introduction

Although RIP (Routing Information Protocol) is considered one of the outdated routing protocols, knowing how it works can help in understanding some of the concepts of other modern routing protocols.
It is undoubtedly one of the oldest routing protocol which worked and continues to work in smaller setup. It is very easy to setup and troubleshoot as it has very simple and straight forward approach to exchange routing information.
