My reservation is Jan 1st, 00:00 UTC for 2 hours, but I couldn't log into any devices at all. Please look into this issue. BTW, I used the lab successfully before. This is NOT my first time use and I don't think any settings wrong on my side.

I had the same issue. I was trying my Linux desktop first with telnet & ssh and it was a no go. I switched to putty on windows and I could also not get it to connect. It was my first time connecting to the lab but I have plenty of experience telnet & sshing into devices. The weird thing was it would drop the connection right after I would paste the password in and hit enter.

There was an issue with the Opengear console server earlier. A process responsible for shell allocation hung and had to be hard killed. I rebooted the console server just to be safe.

I'm not sure what caused it or how repeatable it is. Only time will tell...

The issue I explained above has not recurred since upgrading the console server's firmware.

Please note that if you're unable to access the lab, you'll need to provide more information than "it doesn't work" if you expect any support.

I didn't planned having some support, just wanted to point that the problem happened again.

But I found some interesting behaviours, in the meantime:

1- I couldn't access my reservation in the site. Opening http://packetlife.net/lab/reservation/1935/ (the link I got in the confirmation) just got me a "page not found" error.

(Let me say that I know that people have the right to sleep, and I think that this is a very important thing to do at night. :) So, when I saw the error was happening, I just thought: "They're sleeping, and they deserve it". No joke, no sarcasm here. :) )

2- After 30 minutes, my reservation expired and got deleted, as I expected. So I tried to re-schedule for the rest of the 4 hour period but... there was only 3 hours free o_O.

Well, someone just was faster than me. But, why didn't he/she scheduled the 4 hours? That must have coincidence, but... never mind that. ;)

If it happen again (and I hope it doesn't) I'll gather all relevant information.

Hello I have my reservation now, and I also can't log in. I used the lab before about five times without some problem.

After a try to connect to lab devices a get the error:

"Network error: Connection timed out"

I'm using putty connection manager. I don't know where the problem is :-(

My reservation was sheduled today from 18:00 UTC for three hours (Block A)

Blockc is not the correct username for port 1. Read the instructions in the email you received.
