Greetings!

I'm new around here, sucked in by the cheat sheets which now adorn the office wall :)

Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with either INE or IPExpert (specifically the lab workbooks)? Any recommendations?

I use IPexpert's myself at this point. However I believe both are comparable, however i would say that INE has a better blog and forums base with help from the community.

My 2 cents..

I have seen both INE and IPExpert products, and both are excellent. I purchased self-paced products from INE because of their lifetime updates. Around the end of the year the CCIE R&S might get updated to v5. So I just wanted to be safe.

BTW, some of the videos are kind of thin, but the lab books are a must for anyone planning on passing the lab.

Thanks for the thoughts guys, I've been mulling the options over for a while now and it seems to depend who you speak to both products have a good name.

I use INE workbooks 1,2 and 3 and the gradedlabs tokens (I wait because 3 or 4 times per year they are 50% price off). And after the workbooks I will do the mock-labs.

But anyway IPX products are also excellent. So pickup what you prefer or something from INE and something from IPEXPERT.

you just have to use the materials that you buy.
Kind regards

The help offered by IPexpert via Channels such as Mailing Lists and Twitter has made my future investment choice easy.

Both have comparable features with the workbooks and actual content but with the sort of money we are all looking at investing, it is the little things that make the difference.

I've started using INE material. Seems to me they're 50/50. Best solution would be to use both! :)

If we are talking R&S, I have used both the IPexpert and the INE material and if I had to choose, I would go with INE. What i liked about the INE labs (specifically the multi-protocol labs) was the fact that each topology was different (logically) where the Ipexpert was very static.
The way I trained for my R&S was to do a multi-protocol lab or 2 a week just like I was taking the real lab...meaning, I never looked at the lab until I was ready to take it, I only used the Cisco Doc CD if I had questions, and I never looked at the proctor guide until the next day when I would "grade" my self.
With that approach, every time I opened an INE lab, it was completely different logically on how it was set up and forced me to get my head around logical vs physical topology. IPexpert on the other hand were static (the routing protocols would change but the same routers with the same interfaces were always connected)
It has been a few years since I have looked at the material so maybe that has changed, if not though, I would go with INE. Of course I would use both if that is an option. The 2 different approaches as far as wording and presentation is nice to get exposed too, and more importantly, you can not do too many labs to prepare for the real thing. If i remember right, between the 2 vendors I think there is 40+ full 8hour multiprotocol labs

The best u can select is INE, Becoz they got the curriculum exactly according to Blueprint. they prepare u just the way CCIE candidate should. These are not chit sheets This is real hard work u can do to prepare yourself real word CCIEs need to be. SO go for INE Maybe we will read your Success story on the Packet life.
