OPENGEAR features & cables

Do you know if the CM4008 can be configured with the same features as your CM4116 like in your article : http://packetlife.net/blog/2010/jan/14/review-opengear-cm4116/ In this article, you say that you use normal CAT5/6 with 8P8C terminations to plug cisco devices to this console manager, but could you detail this 8P8C cable? do you have a scheme please?
stretch 269 posts	25 Mar 2010 at 10:55 p.m. UTC AFAIK the 4008 supports everything the 4116 does with the exception of remote power management, but check the docs or ask one of their sales guys. Opengear makes cheap adapter cables, or you can make your own using the pinouts posted here.
