an IBM x3560 M2 server on its way for web front-end to lab equipment

...of course, my lab serves about 150 students :P

Previously i was using

  • 1720 x 2
  • 1841 x 1

Now all are power down, and i am using GNS3.

10 yrs teaching cisco networking academy CCNA curriculum at this north texas community college location; recently had third equipment refresh:

26 ea 1841 routers (2 FE, 2 smartserial)

16 ea 2960 switches (24 10/100, 2 10/100/1000)

retained 12 older 2950 switches, permanently partitioned into 3 vlans of 8 ports apiece for the fundamentals classes

integrated classroom-laboratory has 24 student capacity
