I have made a telnet connection to the switch but i cant go into privilege mode.... is the password same as telnet password or is it different???? i am trying 4 last 15 mins but i cant get in :( help!!!!!! Ankur |

ok i give up wasted a whole hour but to no use i cudnt get through to pivilege mode forget trying to do nything else.. if anyone can help me it wud be greatly appriciated |

finally i got in by looking around the site and power cycling the device... now the password is gone and i am not setting any password. Ankur |

after power cycling the switch all the config was gone and after a little fiddling i found out this was switch 1 so i have renamed it but i wont save any configs.... this is turning very intresting... |

sorry for erasing the config i forgot to give the break signal.... i hope i havent caused any problem to u stretch.. was only on switch 1 :S |

Lab users are supposed to erase all configurations prior to the end of their lab. I have been considering an automated system to accomplish this but it's not operational yet. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
